Zero Waste Challenge LLC is a family-run business that was established in 2008 for the purpose of finding ways to increase the percentage of discarded/donated items that can be put back
into use at affordable prices , particularly in developing world.
The company currently exports over 4.5,00,000 lbs. of used household items (clothing, accessories, shoes, hard toys, stuffed animals, kitchen utensils, bric-a-brac, and other items) each month.
The company’s business model is cantered around the belief that most of the items no longer needed in one location–especially in developed countries–are still usable and in high demand elsewhere around the globe where they can be appreciated and put to good use .
